Software is the most
difficult part of any design, and a lot of thought and effort needs to
be put into the software process.
meb Industries can manage the various people involved in software
design, usually detailed interfaces to hardware designers and end
users is required to make sure the software meets the requirements of
all concerned.
Software
designers have experience in small 8 bit micro controllers, through to
linux. Some of the preferred micro controllers include Atmel AVR,
PIC, Freescale, ARM variants, MSP430, Renesas, 8051 and many more.
meb Industries would prefer to be involved in the specifying of the
micro controller as there are usually commercial issues as well as
technical issues with regard to choosing a processor. However if
it is necessary to use a customer preferred processor this can usually
be accommodated.
the baulk of the software is written in C, with some assembly, to
allow for the highest portability possible.
